1. Amendment to the Constitution and Bylaws of PDX MINI April 2009

1. CHANGE OF DEFINITION OF NON-MEMBER to GUEST- From PDX MINI COOPER CLUB (Article III of the By-Laws

A. PRIVILEGES OF MEMBERSHIP

3. (Non-members) Guests

And (non-members) guests are required to adhere to all protocol for said event.

4. (Non-members) Guests may not run for office or vote in any elections.

See, now wasn’t that easy? If not, then you’ll just have to come see for yourself, right in the comfort of your very own MINI; binoculars not mandatory.

3. Follow the Fool

Do you Follow the Fool or the route instructions on the PDX MINI Club “Follow the Fool” Poker Run? On Saturday, April 4, 2009 the question will be answered!


Motor through the hills in Washington County. Find the checkpoints for your Poker Hand. On this run, cars will go out in two minute intervals. You will have to follow the directions as we will not go in a group - you are on your own. A driver and navigator are highly suggested but not required if you feel brave enough. If you are truly desperate to go and do not have a navigator your event director may have a navigator or two that can be lent out for this event. Hey, not everyone has a Mini or a running Mini ya know!

4. Driven to Drink

Whine, whine, whine, and no, we’re not talking about the whine of those sweet sounding superchargers, we’re talking about the fruit of the vine this time – WINE! Oregon wineries rank right up there with the best of the best and we’re going to tour some premiere wineries in the area, get this, riding around in a limousine.

5. Southern Oregon Coast Tour

Professors Kimmel and Reynolds will be offering this course only during the Fourth of July holiday and it will not be repeated until some later date or perhaps never again, depending on the mood of the Dean of Events.

This promises to be an exciting nature field trip of the wild and wooly Rogue River environs with the expert guides of Jerry’s Rogue River Jet Boats.

Our next general meeting will be held on Thursday, February 12, 2009 at 6pm at our usual location -- the Village Inn Restaurant at Bridgeport Village Mall in Lake Grove. More...
